Who is that swimming in the sea? Seal in the Baltic Sea on the Stohl cliff north of Kiel in the Rendsburg-Eckernförde district.
Taking a trip to the Baltic Sea despite Corona and social distancing: Is that a good idea or not? If you live in Kiel and the surrounding area, you can of course also go to the Baltic Sea or the Kiel Fjord. After all, there is no exit ban here like in Italy or Spain, for example. And the partly wide beaches on the Baltic Sea and Kieler Förde are ideal for keeping your distance. There is also fresh sea air for free and, with a bit of luck, sunshine too. Perfect conditions for a walk along the cliffs in Stohl. And as you can see in the pictures: Despite the weekend and the sunshine, there is hardly anyone on the beach here on the Baltic Sea beach near Stohl, a few kilometers north of Kiel. It is also much more interesting when a seal is near the shore in the Baltic Sea. After all, it’s not every day you see a seal in the Kiel Fjord or the surrounding Baltic Sea beaches.
In times of COVID-19 you can also enjoy the sun and the sea on Falckensteiner Strand, Schilksee Steilkueste, Schilksee Strand, Strande Strand, Schönberger Strand, Laboe Strand or on the Kiellinie.
