Excursion tip to the Baltic Sea north of Kiel: Autumn walk in Strande and Bülk on the Baltic Sea on a sunny November Sunday.
It is now mid-November and the current weather is ideal for a long walk. How about, for example, just north of Kiel, in Strande and Bülk? The Baltic Sea resort of Strande on the west bank of the Kiel Fjord borders directly on Kiel’s northernmost district, Schilksee. From Strande, a footpath and cycle path runs parallel to the beach to the Bülk lighthouse and further north towards the cliffs.
The circular route described here is almost 9 kilometers long. If you decide to take this walk, you should plan around 2 hours for it. The path leads along large parts of the Baltic Sea, but is still very varied and leads over paved/tarred roads and dirt roads on which there is almost no traffic. At Gut Alt-Bülk, the circular route also leads through a small wooded area. This circular route is also ideal for cyclists. And of course also for dog owners who like to go for a long walk with the dog in the fresh air.
