And just like that, Kiel Week 2022 is over again and said goodbye with a breathtaking fireworks display on June 26th, 2022. As in the previous year, there was also a drone show this year, which was part of the overall “Magic of the Stars over Kiel” event. Combined with a light and laser show as well as the classic fireworks and music, the Kiel Week closing fireworks 2022 was definitely one of the highlights of the Kiel Week. And this year the German Naval Yards shipyard crane on Kiel’s east bank was also included in the overall performance at the Kiel Week closing fireworks 2022 Star Magic over Kiel.

Fireworks and drone show started at exactly 11 p.m. And as early as 9:45 p.m., a group of torch swimmers swam from the Reventlou pier in the fjord parallel to the keel line to the Ostseekai.
As always, you had a great view of the Kiel Week fireworks 2022 from the Kiellinie (between Segelcamp and Ostseekai). The final firework display “Star Magic over Kiel” with fireworks, drone show, laser show and light show lasted around 20 minutes and had numerous spectacular special effects.

Overall, a great evening with wonderful effects at the end of the Kiel Week 2022, which, with a total of around 3 million visitors, was able to build on the years before Corona.
