Christmas market Kiel 2023: The Christmas markets in Kiel will open in the state capital from Monday, November 27, 2023.
Then there will be mulled wine, Glögg, Feuerzangenbowle, Christmas decorations and much more at the Christmas markets on Rathausplatz (Christmas Village), Holstenplatz, Asmus-Bremer-Platz and in Holtenauer Straße on Bernhard-Minetti-Platz.
The Christmas markets in Kiel are open from November 27th to December 23rd this year. Except, of course, for the Christmas market on Asmus-Bremer-Platz, which is open again this year beyond the Christmas period until December 30th.
The following opening times apply to all four Kiel Christmas markets:
Sunday to Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. On Friday and Saturday, the Christmas markets are open an hour longer, i.e. until 10 p.m.

The Kiel Christmas market is celebrating a very special anniversary this year and invites you to the 50th Kiel Christmas market on Holstenplatz. The Kiel Christmas market has been taking place here for 50 years. Over time, more and more locations have been added, so that there are now several Christmas markets in downtown Kiel.
