Kick-off of the Kiel flea market season in the city centre. After a two-year Corona break, there will be numerous flea markets in the state capital Kiel again in 2022. It all started on Sunday, April 3, 2022 with the flea market on Rathausplatz and in the city center on Holstenstrasse, Fleethörn, Asmus-Bremer-Platz and Europaplatz. While there were only a few flea market stalls on the Rathausplatz, there were significantly more stalls in the Europaplatz and Holstenstraße areas.

The weather on Sunday was typical for early April. Mostly sunny in the morning, but cool temperatures. Around noon there was a little rain for a short time, sometimes even sleet and a little later the sun shone again.

By the way, the next flea market on the Rathausplatz in Kiel and in the city center will take place on May 1st, 2022. And already at the end of April, on Sunday April 24th, 2022, the next Kiel flea market will take place in the city center at the Kieler Hörn.
