With an area of just 2.7 hectares, the Uhlenkrog animal enclosure is the smallest of all animal enclosures in Kiel. White fallow deer and a herd of Soay sheep live here in the animal enclosure. At just under 3 hectares, the animal enclosure is the smallest animal enclosure in the state capital Kiel and is located in the Hassee district of Kiel. The entrance area is located directly at the Uhlenkrog bus stop (KVG lines 50 and 51) in the area of Hasseer Strasse and Rendsburger Landstrasse. Free parking spaces are available in very limited numbers. The Uhlenkrog animal enclosure is open all year round, 365 days a year. Admission is free.
