Opening of Stadtwerke Eisfestival 2021/2022 at Ostseekai Kiel on November 18, 2021 Opening ceremony with live DJ and Eisdico on November 18 at 5 p.m.

On Thursday at 5 p.m. the time had finally come: the Stadtwerke Eisfestival 2021/2022 in Kiel was opened. After the Kiel Ice Festival was canceled last winter 2020/2021 due to corona, it’s now time to put on your ice skates again and get on the ice rink. The Stadtwerke Eisfestival will take place from November 18, 2021 to January 16, 2022. The 700 square meter ice rink directly on the quay edge at the Ostseekai is open daily. For around two months you can go open-air ice skating and curling at the Ostseekai in the state capital of Kiel. There is also a great view of the Kiel Fjord.

Access to the event is possible in compliance with the 3G rule. A mask does not have to be worn on the ice surface and when consuming food and drinks.

Stadtwerke Eisfestival 2021/2022 Opening times for public ice skating

  • Monday – Friday: 1:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. (during the school holidays from 10:00 a.m.)
  • Saturday: 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m
  • Sunday: 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m
  • Christmas Eve + New Year: closed
  • Christmas days + New Year’s Eve: 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m
