Ferry connection Kiel-Oslo: Color Line will resume ferry operations from mid-February 2022 after a Corona break of several weeks. According to the shipping company, the Color Magic will arrive in Kiel on February 13, 2022.
Since the turn of the year 2021/2022, the ferry service of the two sister ships Color Fantasy and Color Magic between Kiel and Oslo has been interrupted. The reason for this was the strict Corona rules, which, according to the Color Line shipping company, made ferry operations between the two ships uneconomical. A few days ago, the Norwegian government announced that the current restrictions regarding COVID-19 would be lifted. Much like the Danish government, Norway is also opting for openings and easing. For Color Line, the relaxation of the ban on alcohol and restrictions in the restaurants and bars on board their ships is likely to have been one of the factors responsible for the shipping company’s decision to stop the Color Fantasy and Color Magic ferry service between Kiel and the Norwegian capital Oslo to resume.
The Color Line shipping company currently expects the Color Magic to return to Kiel on February 13th. And according to Color Line, the Color Fantasy will arrive on February 26 at the Norway quay on the southern east bank of the Kiel Fjord.
