Open day at the Kiel-Wik naval base on the Kiel Fjord: This year the traditional Open Ship took place again in the Kiel naval port during the Kiel Week. On Saturday, September 4th, 2021, the German Navy reopened the gates to visitors at the Kiel location, the naval port in Kiel-Wik at the end of the Kiellinie. Visitors could only go to the naval ships that were moored at the Gorch-Fock-Mole (formerly Tirzitzmole). A total of 7 naval ships are moored here, but not all of them could be visited.
