Official opening of the 125th Kiel Week on June 22, 2019 on the Rathausplatz in Kiel – Family Minister Franziska Giffey opened this year’s Kiel Week.
On June 22nd, 2019 at 7.30 p.m. it was that time again: The Kiel Week 2019 was officially opened. As always on the stage in front of the town hall and this year again by a person from politics. The starting signal for Kiel Week 2019 was given by Federal Minister Franziska Giffey, who gave the signal with the typhon.
Of course, Prime Minister Daniel Günther, Mayor of Kiel Ulf Kaempfer and Mayor Hans-Werner Tovar were also present at the opening.
Incidentally, the Kiel Week 2018 was also opened by a politician, Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier.
