State elections in Schleswig-Holstein 2022: The election for the 20th Schleswig-Holstein state parliament will take place on Sunday, May 8, 2022.
On May 8th, 2022, the people of Schleswig-Holstein will elect their new state parliament. State elections are held every five years, the last state election was on May 7th, 2017. Voters can cast their votes for the state elections either by post or on election day at their respective polling station.
The address of the polling station can be found on the voting card. The polling stations will be open on May 8, 2022 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. You are asked to bring your own pen. In addition, the voting notification and ID card or passport are required.
Voting age: Young people from the age of 16 are entitled to vote in state elections.
