On Sunday, November 6th, 2022 there is a lot going on in downtown Kiel. Sunday shopping from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m., Kiel’s sea of lights with this year’s highlight, the “Flames of Water” at the boat harbor from 5.30 p.m. to 9.30 p.m. and a large lantern parade will also take place on this Sunday. The lantern parade starts at 5.30 p.m. from the boat harbor. The route takes the lantern parade along the so-called Lights Route through the parks around the Kleiner Kiel, where there are light effects, music and art at a total of seven locations.
The lantern parade is accompanied on its approximately one-hour tour through the parks on Kleiner Kiel by the NDTV Holsatia Kiel marching band.
