Open Ship Naval Base Kiel-Wik

Open Ship at the Kiel-Wik naval base during the Kiel Week 2021 – open day in the Kiel naval port on September 4th, 2021.

Also this year, the traditional open day at the Kiel naval base will take place during the Kiel Week. The German Navy will open the Kiel-Wik naval base for inspection of naval ships and naval units on Saturday, September 4th, 2021 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

If you want to visit the German naval ships in the Kiel naval base (formerly: naval base Tirpitzhafen Kiel), you should definitely be prepared for the admission controls. The 3-G rule applies (vaccinated, recovered, tested negative).

Admission to the Open Ship at the Kiel naval base is free. There may be waiting times due to visitor number restrictions.
