AIDAcosma leaves Kiel: On February 23, 2022, the 337 meter long cruise ship AIDAcosma of the shipping company Aida Cruises left the port of Kiel with destination Hamburg.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In the early Wednesday evening, the AIDAcosma cast off when the newest ship of the shipping company AIDA Cruises left the berth at the Ostseekai<\/a> after a stay of several days in Kiel. Punctually at 6 p.m. the loud ship’s horn of the AIDAcosma sounded and a little later the cruise ship started moving, colorfully illuminated on the sides as it passed the Kiel Fjord<\/a> in the direction of the Baltic Sea and with the next destination Hamburg. The first AIDAcosma cruise, a so-called metropolitan cruise, will then start in the Hanseatic city on February 26, 2022. It is planned for the summer of 2022 that the AIDAcosma will be deployed in the Mediterranean. Therefore, the AIDAcosma will probably not be a guest in the state capital Kiel anytime soon.<\/p>\n

After several days of storm and rain, the sun shone again in Kiel on Wednesday and the weather cooperated even when the AIDAcosma left the berth at the Ostseekai in the evening. Numerous spectators along the Kiellinie<\/a> and on the Reventloubrücke said goodbye to the AIDAcosma and of course also took one or the other photo and video of the AIDA cruise ship in the Kiel Fjord.<\/p>\n
