Lots going on on Saturday on the beach in Schilksee<\/a>: Beach weather at almost 30 degrees on the last weekend of the summer holidays means that the beaches on the Kiel Fjord<\/a> and the Baltic Sea are full.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The summer holidays in Schleswig-Holstein are coming to an end and school starts again on Monday. But probably nobody who was here on the beach in Schilksee or on one of the numerous other beaches (e.g. Falckensteiner Strand, Laboe Strand) wanted to think about that on Saturday. Almost 30 degrees and plenty of sun. A refreshment in the water provided a remedy against the heat. And if you spend a long time in the sun on the beach, you should of course keep an eye on the topic of sun protection. In this weather, it is particularly important to use sunscreen and to drink enough.<\/p>\n

As you can clearly see from the photos here, there was a lot going on on the beach on the Kiel Fjord in Schilksee on Saturday afternoon and it was sometimes not that easy to find a free spot if you had only arrived at the beach around 3 p.m. Anyone who drove to the beach in Schilksee first had to find a parking space. That wasn’t so easy on Saturday either, because even the large parking lot a few meters from the Schilksee Olympic Center was all occupied and numerous drivers made their rounds here looking for a parking space. But of course there was another way. Many beach visitors used the 9-euro ticket to take the bus to the beach in Schilksee and of course didn’t have to worry about parking.<\/p>\n
