Official Kiel Week opening<\/a> 2022 on the town hall stage on June 18, 2022 with Anglasen (bell strike) by Daniel Günther and a typhon signal by Robert Habeck.<\/strong><\/p>\n

It starts again in the state capital Kiel, on Saturday evening from 7.20 p.m. the time had finally come: the Kiel Week 2022 was officially opened. After a two-year Corona break, the opening ceremony took place again on the Kiel City Hall Square on a large stage and with several thousand spectators. As always, the first part of the opening ceremony was the “Anglasen”, the striking of the ship’s bell. This task was carried out by the incumbent Prime Minister of Schleswig-Holstein, Daniel Günther.<\/p>\n

Guest of honor at the official opening of Kiel Week 2022 was Robert Habeck, German Vice Chancellor and Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Energy. First Robert Habeck had to answer a few questions from the NDR presenter and then the Typhon signal was given. Robert Habeck flipped the switch on the big blue ship’s horn. With the signal long-short-short-long, which means “Cast off!”, the Kiel Week 2022 was officially opened.<\/p>\n
