It also snowed in Kiel on the night of November 28th, 2023 to November 29th, 2023. The result was around 15-20 centimeters of fresh snow on Wednesday morning in Kiel and the surrounding area. Drivers first had to clear their cars of a thick layer of snow in the morning. And some drivers must have suddenly remembered that it was really time to say goodbye to the summer tires they still had on. The onset of winter also had an impact on local public transport in Kiel. At around 2 a.m. the KVG stopped regular service in Kiel and only resumed it a few hours later.
