DESCRIPTION:Kiel Week 2021: Sailing and summer festival in the state capital of Kiel in Schleswig-Holstein. \nThe Kiel Week is an annual sailing regatta that has been held in Kiel on the Kiel Fjord since the end of the 19th century. It is considered one of the largest sailing events in the world. In recent decades\, a folk festival has also developed on the quay walls of the tall ships\, although the core of the Kiel Week has always remained the sailing competitions. \nIn addition to the sporting aspects\, the Kiel Week includes an extensive program with over 2\,000 individual events\, including performances by international and regional bands and artists who offer live music in around 300 concerts on 16 stages. \nThere are also performances by numerous local groups on smaller stages. DESCRIPTION:Kieler Woche sailing fireworks Olympiahafen Schilksee 2021: The sailing fireworks in Schilksee will take place on Tuesday\, September 7th\, in front of the Olympiahafen in Kiel-Schilksee on the Kiel Fjord. \nDuring Kiel Week\, a large fireworks display traditionally takes place on Sunday evening on the last day of Kiel Week\, which can be seen very well from the Kiellinie. But there are also fireworks in Schilksee during Kiel Week\, the sailors’ fireworks at the Olympic Port in the Kiel Fjord. \nThis year\, the Schilksee fireworks display will take place on September 7th\, 2021. It starts at exactly 9:21 p.m. \nCOVID-19 information: The 3-G rule applies on the festival grounds around the Olympiahafen Schilksee and Olympiazentrum Schilksee.
